Course Overview: 

This training course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively use respiratory protective equipment (RPE) in various hazardous environments.

 

The course covers the selection, use, maintenance, and regulatory requirements of RPE to ensure the safety and health of workers.

Course Objectives:

• Understand the different types of respirators and their specific applications.

• Learn the limitations and capabilities of various respirators.

• Master the process of selecting the appropriate respirator for different hazards.

• Conduct proper fit testing to ensure a secure and effective seal.

• Gain proficiency in the storage, care, cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of respirators.

• Familiarize with CSA standards, as well as NIOSH certifications.

• Understand the medical evaluation requirements for respirator use.
